GRATITUDE

While feeling gratitude has amazing benefits, expressing gratitude led me directly to awakening. And it seeded a daily life practice that sparks joy whenever I get the opportunity to do it. So it is with great joy that I offer this one!

I wouldn’t be me without you” is a recognition that I have often with the people in my life. Because it’s absolutely true. We are not separate. I did not arrive on my own. Each of us is a magical constellation of energies, made up of essence, life experiences, and the communities that flow through us.

And for that, I would especially like to thank:

Teachers

for the truly priceless gift of your presence, wisdom and guidance. I’ve received more than I could possibly repay and can only attempt to balance those books by living your teachings in a way that honors the gift and pays it forward.

The Reverend
Daijaku

for the gift of the dharma in daily life. Your support and faith in me to walk the path of a bodhisattva means more to me than you know. And for my dharma name. Simple. Profound. Perfectly capturing my essence and deep intention, inspiring a lifetime of joyful practice.
